Dr. Simon Sabel advises investors, companies and entrepreneurs on transactions and structuring.

In the area of transactions, he advises on the purchase and sale of companies and participations (M&A, private equity), financing rounds (venture capital) and joint ventures. In the area of structuring, he advises on corporate and asset structuring, from formation, expansion and restructuring to exit and succession, including the interfaces with tax and investment law. In both transactions and structuring, Dr. Simon Sabel is active in a cross-border context.

Dr. Simon Sabel is a lecturer at the University of Bayreuth in the field of corporate law.

Career

Dr. Simon Sabel studied law and economics in Bayreuth and Munich. He was a visiting doctoral student at the Max Planck Institute for Competition and Innovation in Munich and received a doctoral scholarship from the Cusanuswerk. He worked for the major national and international law firms Flick Gocke Schaumburg and CMS in Munich and Hamburg, and for the private equity manager HQ Capital in Bad Homburg v.d. Hoehe and New York City. For several years he was a partner in a law firm in Munich and Berlin. Dr. Simon Sabel is a lecturer for corporate law at the University of Bayreuth.
